This totally brings me back to laying on the floor of Pastor Lopez's surf shop in Avalon as a little kid.Quiksilver put on an all 80's event that featured some of my favorite skaters from the neon decade. Hosoi, Hawk, McGill, and others broke out their jams and got down on an old school vert ramp. Complete with 80's decks (rails and nose guards included), the guys ripped it up in Orlando.
Monday, September 13, 2010 at 10:18AM Another NFL season has begun and already the fans of Detroit have been treated to a huge serving of dissapointment. On the heels of an amazing drive, capped by a game winning TD catch by former Yellowjacket Calvin Johnson, the Lions' faithful were immediately brought back down to earth by an obscure rule that states if you fall while catching, no matter if you have taken two or three steps, you have to hold onto the ball, or the pass is incomplete. This is another blaring incosistency that is the NFL rule book. If Mr, Johnson were to be running the ball, he could dive in the air, dip the nose of the ball in the endzone ink and let go once he hits the ground. This would have been a TD. At any rate, Detroit goes home winless, and their era of darkness continues..
